Did you ever hear or read about the World Intellectual Property Day (WIP Day) ? Today is the Day which is celebrtaed all over the world.
It has been proclaimed by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) since 2000 to highlight the importance of intellectual property rights – such as patents, trademarks, product designs, copyrights – in promoting innovation and creativity. Originally initiated by UNESCO, the day takes place every year on 26 April. It was on this day in 1970 that the founding convention of WIPO came into force. Intellectual property events are held around the world on the day of action.
