European Commission: peer learning for IPR

The Spanish LEARN-IP partner Sociedad Regional Educación, Cultura y Deporte S.L (SRECD) was awarded by the European Commission to host a so called “Peer Learning Visit” of the Heritage in Action initiative September 21 – 23, 2022. Cultural Heritage in Action is a peer learning programme on cultural heritage funded by the European Union that promotes exchange between a large number of cities, regions and stakeholders, creating a broad learning community. Representatives of around 20 European regions joined the event and had the opportunity to learn about the activities of the  Centro de Estudios Lebaniegos and SRECD in the LEARN-IP project and the relevance of intellectual property rights in cultural heritage and cultural tourism specifically in rural areas.

More than 20 representatives from European regions joined the LEARN-IP presentations

The LEARN-IP project was represented by the coordinator Dr Karin Drda-Kühn (Kultur und Arbeit e.V.) and Dr Thomas Bürvenich, whose law firm Tergau & Walkenhorst Patent Attorneys -Attorneys at Law is also a LEARN-IP project partner.
