The potential of Intellectual Property Rights for cultural heritage and cultural tourism

A Spanish event took place February 27th, 2023, in Santander and had a truly interested audience for the results of the LEARN-IP project. The event was honored by the presence of General Director of Cultural Heritage of the Government of Cantabria, Mrs Zoraida Hijosa, plus the board of cultural heritage of the region. The participants were informed in a presentation of the three outcomes of the LEARN-IP project – the seven training modules, the training platform and the Handbook for Trainers.

The event was moderated by Javier Canera of the Spanish LEARN-IP partner Sociedad Regional Educación, Cultura y Deporte S.L (SRECD). The modules that brought more attention were numbers 4, 2, 5, and 6. Although some participants indicated that they were all relevant so they would only understand this program by going through each and all modules. Most were interested in going through modules with professional guidance of a teacher/trainer to adapt it (if possible) to their specific needs.
