Indeed, there could be no better time than this year to become skilled in the use of intellectual property rights (IPRs): The European Year of Skills 2023 focuses on all kind of skills: new, innovative, proven, formal, informal, non-formal. This year is about helping people get the right skills for quality jobs and helping businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises like in the cultural sector, to address the EU’s skills shortage.
These ambitions are particularly important in cultural heritage preservation and cultural tourism, both of which have suffered over the last three years as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
We would therefore like to take this opportunity to strongly encourage all training institutions to post and advertise their IPR qualification offers in the European Commission’s database. This requires no more than registration and allows access to target groups across Europe.
